Notes
Die Zuweisung dieser Prägungen ist umstritten. Kainon als Variante von Koinon würde für Alaesa als Sitz der Sizilischen Symmachie sprechen. Andere Forscher ergänzen zu "kainon nomisma" (neues Geld) und lokalisieren die Prägestätte bei Akragas. Eine weitere Theorie weist diese Münzen thrakischen Söldnern zu, die auf Sizilien kämpften.
