Auflage 828 Exemplare. Erworben bei der Dresdner Bank, Frankfurt am Main, am 31. VII. 1957. - Nach der Entdeckung von Platinvorkommen im Ural wurde das seltene Metall zuerst für die Prägung von Medaillen verwendet. Im Jahr 1828 entschloss man sich zur Prägung von Münzen - zuerst im Nominal von 3 Rubel, dann 6 Rubel und zuletzt 12 Rubel.
